gakgupta Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Dhoni has been a burden on the team (both ODI and Test) for quite some time now....there are some occasional knocks esp in ODI's but not consistent enough and too far placed........Good he has retired from Test but now, it's time to hang his boots on ODI's as well......He is one of the best wkt-batsmen india has produced and it's time to say good bye DHONI..... Every country has been trying out fresh talent....Satner's, Wheeler's, can't remember England players .......and now it's turn of india to try out few of their own.... First few names come to my mind Iyer....Sarfaraz....Mumbai indian pace bowling allrounder (whoever it was).....Kuldeep...Samson(for dhoni) and test who has the stomach to handle intl cricket......in the process..we might few ODI's but that the cost a team has to pay for unearthing talent

Main issue as been Dhoni as captain... If he can gulp his ego and play under any other captain, I've no issues with him to continue few more years.....
BlueBee Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Kohli captained for 5 mins and got a wicket in last game. You could see his aggressiveness from the very next ball when he set a slip for the newcomer but soon Dhoni came in and replaced the ****en slip. Such shambles.

But can be pulled into ODI and give him some time to find his feet in Intl cricket .... He can't be bad than Dravid when it comes to wckt keeping

(Again can't remember the name).....if Bangladesh can unearth guy like sowmya, shabbir....pak can certainly do better

renjith Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 We have the biggest base of domestic players and we are the worst in trying out new players. That is the biggest problem with indian cricket. There are atleast 4 better left-arm seamers in indian domestic circuit than mustafizur rahman.
