maniac Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Apart from jadeja and to some extent Rayudu, I don't see a lot of sweeping changes under kohli that removes dhonis favorite players. For eg; the so called dhoni favorites like rohit and ishant have full support from kohli from what we can see. Ashwin is probably our best bowler on current form across all 3 formats. That leaves us with Raina who seems to have good relations with pretty much everyone in the team(may be will not get a test slot) Vijay in tests is currently irreplaceable. So don't expect too many changes from the new regime

Axar had a poor game the other day At this point of time yes dhoni cannot be blamed if there aren't too many options but he definitely has to be blamed for the team finding itself in this predicament. Even in the world cup,the reserves were not given a shot despite us qualifying with all this winning formula bs.....compare that to 2011 when every single player got a game when dhoni was at his absolute peak as a captain (more luck than strategy though)

So don't expect too many changes from the new regime Jadeja, Dhoni and rayudu from batsmen and useless trundlers like Dhawal kulkarni will be gone and new replacements will be at least tried instead of persisting with these players.
