They have lots of funds to buy new converts. Pretty much every mallu I know in US has a Christian name. Are there any Hindus left in Kerala? Christians in Kerala have never been zealots. They have instead contributed a lot by way of spreading literacy, sanitation etc right from centuries back, which played a big role in shaping the Kerala way Not just that, they have extremely liberally borrowed from traditional hindu culture, to the extent that Durga Puja in kerala is celebrated almost equally fervently in this group - especially regarding children starting their education. They also name their children hindu names, and generally have a sense of humour, including the ability to laugh at themselves. Not just that, the southern part of kerala, where christians are called as 'achayans' are known for their enterprise, never say die attitude and hardwork. Yes, there are the odd miscreants here and there. But that's there in all religions. And no, they don't proselytize. Like any other self respecting group, they value their identities, but generally not by hurting others. And oh did I say they are among the most educated group? I used to have a Christian girlfriend, she was more knowledgable and religious about hinduism than I ever was. She used to drag me to temples more than churches and knew certain texts and shlokas etc more than me! She used to take pride in the fact that her ancestors were Namboothiris (Kerala brahmins who converted) and that lineage flows right through her. And that is not just a unique thing. So my earnest request is that put that paintbrush down.

Do you think that there are different type of gods (according to religion) assigned to take care of different groups according to their belief. Any sane person having some common sense should be able to realise this. The world would have been a much better place to live had two things happened: 1) There was no religion or caste system and everyone was judged according to their acts and not what or how they were born as 2) Money was not commodotised

Religion is the worst thing to happen to mankind. It has been the reason for most number of massacres. Should be banned in the whole world.
