Most probably yes, if want to prolong career of Kohli the classy batsman. Batting failure and lost matches piles up quickly than just batting failures / out of form batsmen.

Give Rahane a try. Somebody needs to sit these guys down. Rahane's LOI career is going nowhere. Might as well say to him ok your our test specialist and we want to give you the captaincy. The problem there is even Rahane knows Rohit since they were boys at mumbai. No quarentee that he will be dropped. From what i understand Rohit is a very popular (due to his friendly nature) member of the side. Everybody likes him.
