BeautifulGame Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Makes sense .NL point carrying drinks at this stage better off playing IPL and other T20 fully in the free time . Massively underachieved as a test cricketer though
G_B_ Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 Makes sense .NL point carrying drinks at this stage better off playing IPL and other T20 fully in the free time . Massively underachieved as a test cricketer though did not have the technique with the bat and lacked the body to bowl long spells with the ball.
kosingh Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 About time. Surprised they persisted with him for so long. That said, how I'd love for India to produce an all rounder like that. #Binny
vvvslaxman Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Not a great Test career. But he probably made the right call with Mitch Marsh is going to be a permanent fixture for a while.
Adi_91 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 People mocking him as LBWatson should have hurt him. Meanwhile Nohit is also following his footsteps. Will be interesting to see his career in Tests. :giggle:
BlueBee Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Such a shame that he couldn't do it in the tests. This was anyways expected as Marsh seema to be a fixed member in the team now.
adi B Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Watson is a better bat than mitchmarsh although marsh does have time on his side and can improve leaps and bounds.in the bowling department marsh is the better prospect and does look like a proper 5th bowler.Australia have to invest on marsh and give him time ,he can be a good all rounder
MechEng Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Gun batsman against short pitched bowling, possessed a superb pull shot. Won many games for Australia in 2009-2010 period.Unfortunately he has a major technical flaw against off cutters, but did his best for Australian test team.
fineleg Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Meanwhile Nohit is also following his footsteps. Will be interesting to see his career in Tests. :giggle: Nohit Lol-it sharma has gang (kohi-shastri-gavaskar-manjrekar)
