Never got the accolades that Dravid Sach or Laxman got.He is the best player of spin of his generation, nobody comes close.He has dismantled every spinner he has played against, the way he handled Mendis when others struggled mightily was joy to watch.That 293 is one of the best exhibition of playing spin bowling considering the bowlers he was facing.Those guys have over 1100 wickets between them and they were treated like club bowlers.He had weakness against fast bowlers but who does not have weakness against moving ball.If others were so great there would be no 66 all outs or 70 all outs in India . Sangakarra till recently has awful records in England and South Africa.Judging a player purely on stats overseas is ridiculous, when in form Sehwag could score anywhere may be he was not that consistent as he was in sub continent but with his style and stats any team will put his name in any playing eleven.
