More like whom? Sachin has same no of 4th innings 100s in wins as Dravid if I am not wrong. Are you sure that's your ONLY complain about Sachin?

lol @4th innings 100s . Do you know how irrelevant that stat in Test cricket ?

There are a couple of more complains , so what ?

But has played more innings too.

Perhaps Kapil was uncharitable towards Sachin with his inarticulate remarks.

We must appreciate whatever Sachin managed to achieve in his long career despite his limitations.

More like someone of Sachin's calibre. I think it is pretty much established in the discussion here that the argument is Sachin didn't do full justice to his talent. If Sachin has achieved only just as much as lesser players than him then this doesn't look like much of a counter argument.

Is there anyone in this forum who thinks that Sachin did not have the ability or talent to average atleast 57 + in test matches if not more OR score atleast one triple century ?

I think even Sachin Tendulkar himself would agree on this issue.

Lol the guy averaged 60 for 150+ tests in 18 years and that is already more than what anyone could do in their career

Sachin's average over 200 matches was still exceptional. Don't get me wrong. I am just talking about what Sachin himself would perhaps have wanted, given his superlative talent.

Why does Sachin need to do everything to prove himself? I mean if you look at the weaknesses of players like Sehwag, Lara, Viv, etc you will find many there too. But somehow people only look at Sachin's weaknesses. Having a couple of weaknesses doesn't make him a lesser bat than those others.

if you are talking Sachin in same sentence as those then how is he the best!

Sachin is the yardstick for being the ultimate batsman. That is why every old, new and just born player is compared with Sachin. No one says ABDV will be more popular than Ponting or Miandad.

he has been the best in the modern game. period. Could have, should have, are all limitless possibilities and we can speculate as much as we want!
