I know Australia's main bowlers aint playing but these guys are experienced domestic pacers ,likes of Richardson,Hastings,Faulkner aren't inexperienced at all but they got smashed in this series .

What's wrong,I personally believe you cant do much as bowlers on these dodo pitches but Still ,is the reserve bowling looking weak?

Here's the number of wkt they picked till the 40th over in every match - 1,2,2,2,2 lol ,that's embarrassing to the say the least .I believe they got away because of the pathetic Indian lower order or else we would have seen 330+ scores in each game

Australia first choice support bowlers Cummins,Pattinson, are injured & this pitches are made for paisa vasool series.

The Australian board wanted to squeeze as much money from this series

Definitely lower order batting between the 2 sides was the biggest difference.
But Australia need not worry. They've got Coulternile, Pattinson, Cummins, Starc missing.  Coulternile and Starc alone would have made a huge difference.

The Australian pacers who played in this series are very average in terms of talent.

Most don't have any special abilities in terms of pace or movement or any typical dangerous delivery.

BUT

most of them tried to be accurate , bowl yorkers at the death etc.

Lack of special abilities by the pacers, very good batting by our top order batsmen and flat pitches in this series led to them going for 295 + runs in all the matches.

coulter nile and pattinson are pathetiv odi bowlers who 'd have been smashed on these pitches.I'll take a yadav over these 2 in odis lol .

Cummins is a good bowler and a talent but even he can get smashed around when the rhythm is not on.

Only starc and Hazelwood were the main bowlers missing ,Hazelwood did play in Perth though.

forget all this,Richardson, failkner, and Hastings are decent experienced domestic pacers ,but they got hit mercilessly as well.

If our bowlers get smashed by a superior batting line up like aus,we say how pathetic we are ,we are shit in bowling and all but what about Australian bowling? They were even more embarrassing because they were bowling in home conditions and against a decent batting line up (nothing special after top3).

Tbh ,my views still lies, these pitches are disgraceful,no help for any bowler ,can't read much through this Series ,even Richardson made a jibe at the presentation last match that "nowadays you want to see 4s and 6s and we as bowlers are just there trying to prevent it"

Well I never said our bowling is pathetic but yeah that's the general opinion around. Considering the quality of the lower order hitters, I would personally consider Ishant to be the best bowler from both sides. Even better than Hastings. And our spinners were definitely better than their part time spin options.

At the start of the series, I would have preferred Yadav to Coulternile or Richardson.  But then he looks so out of rhythm and confidence that I don't anymore. He may not have a captain that brings the best out of him and must be under pressure to retain his selection.  But still, the way he bowled today was poor. He looked down in pace throughout the series and continued to stray in his line/length in some matches. Now he may not have gone flat out due to various reasons but still, there was hardly any aggression in his bowling  Even his bouncers weren't effective. All he ended up doing was bowl some waist high short balls at around 135-138k.  Also, we hardy got to see any yorkers from him barring the 4th ODI. If he's unfit, he shouldn't have played and if he's doing this due to pressure from the captain, then there's a temperament issue. I'll rather have a bowler like Aaron who has got some aggression in his bowling than someone who's this apprehensive on field. But still I'll rate Yadav above BK/Sran as there is at least a chance that he can find his rhythm and bowl to his potential.

And obviously Starc and Cummins have got that X factor. Cummins is still a bit inconsistent but he's someone who can bowl in the 150's consistently like he did against England recently. Don't think Yadav falls in that category anymore.

This Aussie bowling still is more reliable than ours. We were lucky in this series as Starc, Pattinson were injured. Else, 5-0 was a guaranteed result.

are you kiddng? Most australian pitches are roads for a while now, never seen a more pathetic wacca and gabba pitch in my life.

Pitches were roads. A first choice attack of Cummins, Starc, Pattinson and Faulkner looks much more interesting to me. I'm curious why Boland and Paris were played. Surely, McKay (with a great ODI record) would have been better than these 2 "bowlers".
