Indians have such a bare cupboard (like Momma Hubbard) that even Nathu is exceptional for them.

Average speed of around 135 and very good control over line and length. I was really happy to see that instead of an 140+ spray gun. Don't think anybody hyped him as the next akthar. His maximum speed in nets was told as 145. So that clearly meant his speed will be 135-140 in match situations. Most of the ex-players were impressed by his skillset instead of pace.

Wait for 2,3 matches to know the real pace. Maybe he was trying to get more swing since the conditions were conducive for swing bowling early morning.

How was he in Board Presidents XI versus SA ?
 Kinda ok, but still needs to develop pace and skills. A year or two of A-tours (plus coaching with good coaches) needed.

An Indian 20 year old bowling 135-140 isn't bad by any means. It is of no use trying to bowl too quick all the time and get injured. This is considered a tender age for fast bowlers. He can easily get quicker in time to come like Ankit Rajpoot and Navdeep Saini.

I was impressed by Nathu Singh's height and reasonable accuracy.

If he can end up bowling 135 k to 145 k by age 23 even then we would have a good , accurate bowler with pace and bounce instead of a spray gun with only pace.

A speed range of 135 k to 145 k,  accuracy and bounce , resulting in  regular wickets,   would be quite good for Nathu.

Can add few more yards if runs in more quicker, add more bowling muscle to his body and finish his follow through with the left hand in more complete fashion also need to add more aggression in to his style. need 1-2 seasons more before he can be drafted in to higher level, right now should not get selected for his own good otherwise will get hit around at international level and will be forgotten story like happened to so many others.

Speedguns in domestic always seem to show slower speeds, don't know why, Nathu bowled 135 to 139 bracket n I guess in international games would translate to 140 to 146 range, not express but not slow, bowled good channel, needs a bit of work on runup n action also he finishes up like Balaji n hope his back holds up

True, and I want to see him play consistently well. Tbh, the pitches in domestic level are too much in favor of swing bowling.

Nathu Singh looked fast and bouncy in today's Deodhar Trophy match.

They showed  speeds of just 4 of his deliveries and they were 141.4 k, 141.0 k, 138.7 k and 136.5 k.

He got consistent reverse in-swing in his later overs , bowled good in-swinging yorkers and bowled a batter off one such delivery.

Got sharp bounce with some balls

 

He got hit for 25 in his first 2 overs but came back very well after that and gave just 33 runs in his next 8 @ a little over 4 per over. Coming back after getting hit is a great  quality.

Just another trundler. Nothing special as of now

He looks a good prospect, people want a readymade 150k bowler which rarely happens, it's the ability which matters. He has enough pace to unsettle batsmen and more importantly he can move the ball both ways and has Yorker which is good. He can easily develop into a very good bowler.
