bowl_out
SA going to semis will provide an interesting match in Mumbai (?) - SA vs NZ.. time to avenge the WC semis loss? Link to comment
zen
Even the third scenario is very likely... SL beat Eng, and SA beat SL... then SA go through on NRRAs long as a team has not lost 3 games in its group and if enough matches are yet to be played, it should not lose hope .... The teams should remember how Pak sneaked in in '92 lol Edited March 25, 2016 by rett Link to comment

asterix
As home team, India has first match on new venue every match where as the opponent has already played in the venue earlier...Pak played a match in Kolkata before meeting India.Bangladesh played a match in Bengaluru before meeting IndiaAustralia played a match in Mohali and now play India at the same venue...What a shitty itinerary... There's no home advantage... Ultimate_Game, Shivaji bhonsle and chewy 3 Link to comment

The teams should remember how Pak sneaked in in '92 lol Sneaking in to the knockouts has always been pak's specialty. The did the same in 2009, 2010 and 2012 WT20. IIRC in all these tourneys they sneaked through on NRR. Link to comment

We should have aimed to top the group, but then the loss against NZ completely changed all equations. Now, we will have to be content with Wankhede should we qualify for the KOs. Link to comment

From today, if India have to win this World Twenty20, they will have to meet some tough opponents in possibly the toughest of conditions. Phew, if we get through this, we will be deserving champions. zen 1 Link to comment
chewy
Australia hot favourites, difficult to see India going through, none of the players clicking, got lucky against Bangla. In 3 games, India have no batsman or bowler in top 10 (super 10 stages).Australia have Khawaja, Smith, Maxwell, Watson all scoring runs, and Faulkner and Zampa taking plenty of wickets. If India win World t20 2016, they will be undeserving. zen
Ind is good vs sub-continent teams as even if it makes mistake, it is let off or returned in kind .... captaincy / selection blunders are matched by similar blunders of the opponent Non-SC teams can make Ind pay for its mistakes (NZ already did). So if Ind goes on to win the tourney, it (or someone) would have played extremely well Edited March 26, 2016 by rett Link to comment
chewy
As expected, India is a team of passengers, Australia much better side on current formmohali ( no demons) and ftb Rohit, Dhawan and raina all flop again Link to comment
asterix
It's not about fake fans...The points being raised are valid and won't go away even India wins... You Dhobi fans are hell bent on burning out Kohli... You selfish guys won't bother about how much pressure on Zkohli was... He was emotionally drained after the match but all you Dhobi suckers make merry... adi B, Stuge and Mariyam 3 Link to comment

Adi_91
Now the equation is simple for India. Win 2 more games and win the World Twenty20. Two very tough games await if we win tomorrow and if we win, we will be deserving champions. Edited March 30, 2016 by Adi_91 Link to comment
vijay50
Looks like it will be over tommorow. One man (Virat Kohli) can do only this much. Poor cricket by Rohit, Dhawan and Raina. Raina will get shortball for sure tommorow again. Edited March 30, 2016 by vijay50 Link to comment
