Kohli seems a different player altogether when he has a target in mind than when he has to help set up a target. Kohli has been virtually a one man team, I am scared about a) the law of averages catching up to him and b) our gameplan when we set targets. i bet both Westt indies and if we get to finals England will chase if they win the toss. We had a subpar total against Bangladesh which we almost lost and against a third rate Srilankan team we got owned as well in the first ODI. This is almost like a test match where toss has become a crucial factor if we have to win this cup. Switchblade 1
Adi_91 Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 We had the same mindset 2 years back in 2014 edition. Chase and we win most of our games. I guess the only hope if we bat first is our openers to get going quickly. Can't be content with 2/0 in the first over.

Nash Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Doesnt matter if chase or not. we have to win two games only now. I think, we got lucky with Bangladesh. we are still not firing all cylinder and we are already in semi. Think about if we get everybody working we can easily win both games.

It wasn't a subpar total against BD. We made it look like by dropping 3-4 catches. Target is always set according to the pitch and that was pretty much a par score on that pitch.
