Kohli captain of T20 and ODI

Yet to understand why Asian players are soo reluctant to leave their spot ,and allow younger people to take their place ,once they are done with something.

 

 

Its time Dhoni should play only as player ,and not as captain anymore.His captaincy is stale .Yes,We are proud of his record as captaincy and thank him for winning many tournaments ,but time has come for Dhoni to bid adieu as captain respectfully.

Aside from the fact that there is nothing wrong with Dhoni's captaincy, it is not going to be possible for Dhoni to play under the captaincy of Kohli. This has nothing to do with ego, but Dhoni's presence is too large to play under someone else's captaincy. When Dhoni retires, he will go as the captain.

Would Ponting play as a batsman under Clarke's captaincy? Of course not, and it is not because of their ego.

I don't see anything wrong in that. Team is larger than players interest. More Dhoni continuous as captain the misery will keep on prolonging .

There is nothing wrong for an ex captain  to play under a different captain. There are many great players including the likes of Ponting, Lara, Tendulkar have done it in the recent past.

I have never seen a captain with a legacy like Dhoni's play under someone else's captaincy for a long period of time.

Ganguly captained his last game on 6th September 2005. He played over 2 years and over 30 ODIs after that. And it wasn't an ego clash that caused Ganguly that finally caused Ganguly to be pushed out after his last ODI on 15th Nov 2007. He would have played even longer if he was performing.

Wtf is legacy ?is this legacy bigger than Team ?Nobody is asking him to retire but his captaincy is stale as bread keep outside for a week.

My dad never wanted Dhoni to retire as  captain in tests, but after match against pakistan he too wanted him to leave the team's captaincy.

 

 

Even his greatest fans knows his time is up as a captain.
