2 pacers are must like we saw in Delhi with reverse. 3rd spinner will mostly not bowl enough overs and you would need an extra batsman to cover on rank turners.

The Indian team almost always plays a spinner in test matches outside the sub-continent.

 

We need a good wrist-spinner for that purpose....even for ODIs outside the subcontinent.

Outside subcontinent Kumble was always successful than Harbhajan.

 

Outside subcontinent we should always take leg spinner and play him in team, if off spinner does poorly in few matches.
