Texan Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 ^^ Wow, what a revelation that stat is. 4 out of the top 5 are leg spinners. And we didn't pick a leg spinner. Seriously, why has leg spin suddenly become an underrated art in India even though some of the best spinners we have produced (Kumble, Chandra) have been leggies? express bowling 1

Because the current think tank believes that leg spinners can go for runs Ps leg spinners have not only been economical but also picked up tons of wkts in the competition Edited April 3, 2016 by rett adi B 1

Not saying that, he performed very well but some matches were low scoring. But he can be taken to cleaners anytime. There is always a fear that he could be smashed out of the park as we have seen in the past.

While he did well in the qualifying games, he did not do that well in the group games (stronger teams)

Nehra has been among the best quick bowlers esp in the PPs in this competition .... Also he is a left-arm quick so complements other bowlers nicely
