zakk Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 3rd aur 4th spot ke liye bahut maara maari chal rahi hai
StriKe Posted May 16, 2016 Author Posted May 16, 2016 IPL scenarios: six teams still in race for top four spots http://www.espncricinfo.com/indian-premier-league-2016/content/story/1014843.html
sscomp32 Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 The dream scenario i want: GL win both the matches left vs KKR and MI. GL go to 18 and MI are eliminated due to NRR. Sunrisers lose to DD and win vs KKR. That would mean SRH go to 18. DD to win vs SRH and RPS and lose to RCB. DD will be on 18 points. RCB to win both and finish on 16. So we got the top 4. SRH, DD,GL,RCB KKR are stranded on 14 and are eliminated. RPS win vs KXIP in the battle of wooden spoon and finish 7 on NRR.
zen Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 5 teams are fighting for 3 spots. The ones that handle the pressure well and/or have a little bit of luck on their side will go through!

If that is the case, RCB may even end up at the top of the table zen 1
zen Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 After DD's loss today, both RCB and DD cannot end up with 8 wins
zen Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Assuming that RCB vs K11 game is a washout, 5 teams could end up with 8 wins: SRH loses to DD and KKR (NRR would drop) KKR loses to GL and beats SRH (NRR could improve, get worse or remain same) GL loses to MI and beats KKR (NRR could improve, get worse or remain same) MI beats GL (NRR would improve) DD beats SRH and RCB (NRR would improve)
