Why? Whats is there to be admired about. It is exactly behaving like another Sunni Islamic state which somehow has managed to sneak into NATO and now trying to blackmail Merkel for EU memebership. Its one of the worst nations involved in systematically killing Kurds, bullying Greeces, plotting to get rid of non Sunni leaders from neighboring Muslim countries(Syria, Lybia). Its massively involved in supporting ISIS militarily and financially along with providing a market for ISIS oil. If it wasn't Putin's foresightedness and patience, it even tried to ignite a NATO Russia war by shooting down a Russian jet. Erdogan is reversing all the good work done by Atatürk though.
