zen Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Y'day watched Jason Bourne. Good time pass film. Novelty of the 2nd and 3rd films has worn off but still a Bourne film. Makes me wonder what your fav Bourne film is?

zen Posted September 3, 2020 Author Posted September 3, 2020 (edited) Watched Identity and Supremacy back to back, which made the story flow relatively nicely and observe the nuances. Identity has the element of mystery about Bourne. The romantic angle of Bourne-Marie gives it a soul relatively speaking. Sports some nice stunts as well. I have visited Paris a few times so good to see many of the places on screen. Supremacy focuses more on style and action since characters are set up in the first one. Goes with the flow in a nice tempo. A revenge story as well. Nice locations in Berlin and Moscow. Edited September 3, 2020 by zen

zen Posted September 4, 2020 Author Posted September 4, 2020 Ultimatum is more sleek. Its production budget is higher too. Because it is the shot the latest among the three, it also looks the best in terms of picture quality. The location eventually shift to Tangiers and NYC. Tangiers segment is among the best in the series. All 3 films compliment each other as they are telling a long story. Bourne Identity works more as a standalone film. 2nd builds upon the 1st and 3rd on 2nd.
