Why doesn't Bangladesh ever play outside Bangladesh.

It's the team to have toured the least. Only ICC tournaments in the past two years and one WI tour in 2014.

Continuous home matches has made them look like a good team.

Can they even perform inside the subcontinent (outside Bangladesh)?

In order to tour another country, they need to get invited. Considering that such matches will not be much competitive, other boards might be reluctant to invite them as they have a limited home season and want to get the best teams to play against.

Doesn't ICC have a tour plan in which it is compulsory for team to stick to a certain number of tours in and out of the home country?

Two Asia cups and one T20WC was held in Bangladesh.

They never get invited, obviously. They don't attract any people outside Bangladesh. Plain simply put.

What doesn't Zim? It's simple really, no one invites these two. Not a big team = less money and interest. But I recon after the Eng win, they might get a tour or two.

Considering how expensive hosting Test matches are, how many boards would be willing to incur a loss to play Test matches against Bangladesh? 

 

They are a decent limited overs side, but would they generate enough revenue to offset the expenses from the Tests?

The point I am making is that ICC has certain rules in place where every nation has tour a certain number of countries in a span of years...why does Bangladesh not follow the tour plan ?
