Now Bhajji gone ..... 1 run off 4 balls ......good.....deserves it Extremely poor by bhajji when you have two hitters, but I won't call it selfish move like you mentioned It is just lack of judgement and understanding of the game and lack of trust on young players like Pant. This is the downside of zonal games and making captain to such players. Should have made Gambhir the captain who knows all the players better.
express bowling Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 (edited) Pant hitting a boundary and runs given to Dhawan by the scorer Rectified much later Edited February 15, 2017 by express bowling
beetle Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 Pant seems to have lost some of his baby fat. sandeep 1

Oh c'mon..bhajji trusts his batting more than Pant and Yuvi? He was just being plain opportunistic and selfish.
express bowling Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 Pant is playing sensibly and has not played any risky shots so far Commentators were being harsh on him unnecessarily, day before yesterday Mosher 1
Pollack Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 Good thinking by harbhajan. Unfortunately it didn't work.

He was just being plain opportunistic and selfish. As I wrote, guy is a clueless captain and trusts more in his ability than others. Don't think it is selfish. Very harsh word to use for any player.

Don't be naive.... there was Yuvraj Singh, a big hitter, waiting in the wings and everyone knows about Pant these days. He has played for India even. beetle and Mosher 2

I know he probably doesn't trust Yuvraj much as Yuvi has been inconsistent but he surely doesn't trust Pant and hence went himself. Not supporting his movie as it was a stupid move. But calling a player selfish isn't my thing. Selfish is a big word. I will stick with "stupid" tweaker 1

He has played for India even. You are being naive by not reading what I wrote. I clearly said it is stupid of him to come. Selfish means I am blaming him for putting himself ahead of team, which i doubt is his motive.
