tweaker Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 (edited) The squad is selected for 2 test. After the completion of 2nd test selectors will select squad for next 2 tests.Only change the selector will make is bring Shami if he is fit in place of a young player most, probably Kuldeep. tweaker Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 If we loose the 2nd test, selectors should drop Ishant,Rahane,Saha from the squad
express bowling Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 I would like to see Aniket Chaudhary being included Sunanthv 1
Sidhoni Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 If we lose here expect at least 3 changes. But I don't think they will drop Rahane or Ishant from the 16 man squad, will probably call them "injured".
Mosher Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Our batting has let us down big time. Rahane needs to be dropped. Hope Shami comes back. express bowling 1
tweaker Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 Shami & Sran were practicing with the Indian team. They may be selected in the squad
tweaker Posted March 7, 2017 Author Posted March 7, 2017 Will the selectors make any changes now as we have won
tweaker Posted March 7, 2017 Author Posted March 7, 2017 Only change ,maybe Shami inplace of injured Pandya
G_B_ Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 If Vijay is not fit would like to see Parthiv Patel just as an opener. I feel Parthiv better to seeing off Aussie quicks. I would also bring in Pant. I am afraid Saha despite the 20 has just not convinced me. Sidhoni 1
Sidhoni Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 How about this? Rahul Pujara Rahane Kohli Karun Iyer Ashwin Saha Jadeja Ishant Umesh tweaker 1

Gollum Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 (edited) If Ashwin has fitness issues won't be a bad idea to rest him and try out Kuldeep. Also Mukund has to make way for Shreyas Iyer. Play Iyer as opener if Vijay doesn't recover before the 3rd test. And when is Shami coming back? miss him a lot. Edited March 7, 2017 by Gollum CG 1
Ankit_sharma03 Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Would like to add shami, aniket, parthiv Drop ishant Vijay and pandya is injured

tweaker Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Wednesday announced the Indian squad for the third and fourth Test against Australia. All-rounder Hardik Pandya has been left out from the squad. Apart from the above inclusion, the selection committee has retained the same 15-member squad that played in the first two Tests. Rohit Sharma and Mohammad Shami, who returned from injury are not included in the squad. Mosher 1

Forever Indian Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Happy that Rohit is excluded. Would have liked to have Aniket in place of the injured Hardik. BCCI, Mosher and Lord 3
