Fine I am a Rohit fan, hard to believe but check cricinfo if needed affirmation If he has the stats to back him, then why not. I was just unaware

I was just unaware He doesn't have any great stats to back him up.He did really well in the Nzl series so think he deserve another series. But was a horrible failure before . Particularly outside he was a walking wicket lol. These are Rohit performance since Kohli became captain P.S I do agree with ur earlier. The biggest issue with our selection process has been selecting wrong players for wrong format like Raina Yuvi in tests and Rahane in ODIs .

Last series 80+ deserves a shot simple...sure if he failed before he shouldn't have gotten a chance again....selectors and management saw something in him and gave him a shot and he delivered like a mofo....so yes he is entitled to a red carpet welcome once fit

He didn't deserve to play in the Nzl series but since he was picked and done well,he deserves another go. Should be the end of him if he fails again in SriLanka though. maniac, speedheat and sarcastic 3
wanted_desi Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 Its time to move on from Sharmas, He hasn't even played domestic cricket for a while. He should and go perform and then get back to team.

maniac Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Why is this a debate...Roll out the red carpet and let the king claim his rightful throne.
express bowling Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Nair need to be given a lot of chances. He looks comfortable while playing either pace or spin. Has the gift of timing, placement, power when required etc. Many young players fail in a few matches after initial success and then recover again. He has an issue with his trigger movements and needs to improve this aspect.
