Westindies have some good younguns coming through . Hetmeyer is a major upgrade on paprika chandrika . Much stronger side than the one india faced . A lof to build on. Kaunsi duniya me jeete ho? Get out of your delusional lala land
Asim Posted April 26, 2017 Author Posted April 26, 2017 Pak over the years probably have 'dropped' 10s (if not 100s) of matches off catching factor alone but here this Wahab Riaz catch can be said as one turning point of match, though it was just 1st inng but Chase and Dowrich were totally set with 100+ partnership and Pak bowling wasnt looking any threatening at that time, suddenly this brilliant catch to remove chase, they crossed and Yasir removed Dowrich too in very next ball and Pak was then able to contain them below 300, had they kept going to put just 80-100 extra, we mightv seen a different game...

What difference, it's embarrassing enough pak still hasn't won in West Indies, even Bangladesh have won in West Indies

Asim Posted April 30, 2017 Author Posted April 30, 2017 Pak dropped Sami for the reason he had ? over his fitness but he ended as 2nd highest scorer in 50 overs domestic Pakistan cup... Last night scored 109 in Final and and 169 (126) just in previous match...
kira Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Hoping to see windies win the toss and level the series
Iconoclast Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Big toss to win for the Windies as they bat first on a dry surface ... Pak are only playing two fast bowlers ... Shadab gets a debut and will be needed to make an impact today.
Iconoclast Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 4.3 Mohammad Amir to Brathwaite, no run, Shehzad puts down a sharp chance at short cover. Brathwaite nearly fell to the trap. This is far from a half-volley, Brathwaite look to drive on the up but didn't time it well. Shehzad dived to his right but fluffed the opportunity. 4.5 Mohammad Amir to Brathwaite, OUT, the dropped chance doesn't cost them. Amir has struck with a beauty. Boy, he's worked him over or what. Upright seam, gets this to shape back in just a touch and then the ball nips away off the seam from length on off to take the outside edge, Sarfraz accepts it gleefully. Brathwaite never looked comfortable.
wanted_desi Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 No Bravo in the team, no wonder WI is losing this series against Pakistan. It seems like a team of noobs.
BCCI Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Roston Chase looks a impressive find for WI.Not watching this match, hows the pitch,if there is something for bowlers I envision a Pa ki collapse.
Asim Posted May 1, 2017 Author Posted May 1, 2017 Brilliant comeback from WI... This could be match winning/saving ton from chase, considering rain predictions on Day-4,5
sandeep Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 If Darren Bravo was batting at #3 for this team, the series would be tied 0-0, and this test would have interesting possibilities. The current Windies batting lineup has 1 proper batsman in the top 5. There's no way a team can put pressure on even an ordinary test outfit with such weak batting. Laaloo 1
Iconoclast Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Ian Bishop - Abbas is Asif reincarnated. Very similar indeed. Same build, action and pace. Moves the ball and bowls some jaffas. Think he is an excellent prospect.

Most 400+ totals are built on a couple of good partnerships - windies are getting at least one down the order, another one up top would see them post a total they can compete with. Not saying that Pakistan still couldn't win it anyway - am saying that they would have been a lot more competitive. Take off your "Must defend Pakistan is awesome" hat for a second and think it through.
Iconoclast Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Windies have bowled 20+ no balls that the umpires haven't called. Some of them huge. These umpires are blind ?
