Sehwag was a makeshift opener too before making that position his own. Not comparing Tripathi to Sehwag obviously, but for a guy that has scored seven 30+ scores in eight innings, I don't know why one would argue that he's a makeshift opener anymore. He's been more consistent than other regular openers in the tournament.
