rkt.india
I like Sandeep. He has immense potential. He should have been picked for CT. Only bowler who could get us wickets with new ball. Ultimate_Game, Magneto and Lord

But but but... why would results matter? Someone can bowl phaaast, someone else can bowl yorkers (along with a bunch of full tosses and half volleys), someone else can bowl slowers (and always gets smashed). These someones are always more valuable, because cricket is not played in the ground, it is played on a bunch of ____ ___ ____ that no one has mastered in India anyway. speedheat
Did you watch Matt Henry taken to cleaners as well? And did you watch the death over bowling as well? Apparently he should've been hammered all over the place but nobody could hit him for a boundary in his last 2 overs. Finished with a spell of 4 overs for 31 runs where he bowled 2 up front against Narine & Lynn and other two at the death to Lynn, Woakes & Pathan. Matt henry actually created the chance with new ball could have got Lyn but ball flew between keeper and slip Also matt bowled excellent 19th over and also mohit was excellent in the 18th one That gave 19 the run to defend for surma against cdg and lol woakes Surma also got lucky that Lyn was run out otherwise lol

Ultimate_Game
Let me quote cricinfo for the folks who didn't see the brilliant spell of death bowling. And yeah Sandeep was going against the likes of Lynn, Woakes and Pathan who aren't exactly rabbits with the bat... 11.29pm There haven't been too many better bowling performances in the IPL to defend a total. After nine overs, Knight Riders were 76 for 1. In the next 11 overs, Kings XI only gave away 77 while taking five wickets, against some of the best hitters in the business. They showed there's a way to keep Chris Lynn relatively quiet, and made excellent use of the long boundaries with spin and slower balls. 19.6 Sandeep Sharma to Woakes, no run, finishes with a slower ball, and this is a sensational win for Kings XI. Back of a length, Woakes slogs across the line and misses, and the ball loops over the top of middle stump and rolls to Saha 19.5 Sandeep Sharma to Woakes, no run, another yorker. This one is wide of off stump. That's because Woakes was moving across, looking for the scoop over short fine. Sandeep won't give him that. Sneaks it under his bat 19.4 Sandeep Sharma to de Grandhomme, 1 run, they need a six desperately, CdG runs down the pitch, and Sandeep adjusts his length to bowl it close enough to him to deny any elevation. Digs it out to long-on and they only get one 19.3 Sandeep Sharma to de Grandhomme, 2 runs, oh, another yorker. On middle and leg this time. Gets his front leg out of the way and flicks to long-on. And what's up here, they're appealing for a run-out. They chanced two and just about got it. Direct hit from Maxwell at the keeper's end may have got CdG, but it went to Saha first. 18 off four now. 19.2 Sandeep Sharma to Woakes, 1 run, oh, well bowled. Off-stump yorker. Backs away to try and squeeze it through backward pojnt, can only get an inside edge, past his stumps, to the left of the keeper 19.1 Sandeep Sharma to de Grandhomme, 1 run, looks for the wide-ish yorker, CdG only manages a sliced drive to the left of sweeper cover That was a superb over under pressure. KKR need 44 from the last four. Henry has two left, Mohit has three left, Sandeep one. All the overs of spin has left Kings XI with a surfeit of pace options at the death. Still, none of it will help much unless they can get a wicket now, preferably Lynn, who's playing a fantastic innings. 15.6 Sandeep Sharma to Pandey, 1 run, down the track and Sandeep nails the off-stump yorker, squeezed away into the covers 15.5 Sandeep Sharma to Lynn, 1 run, full-toss, thigh-high, angling into the batsman's body. He's bowling for that front leg moving away, and manages to cramp Lynn. Slogs at it, doesn't middle it, lands safely to the right of deep midwicket 15.4 Sandeep Sharma to Pandey, 1 run, down the track and Sandeep looks to york him. Nice swing of the bat to middle that low off-stump full-toss and hit it on the bounce to long-on 15.3 Sandeep Sharma to Lynn, 1 run, nice and full on middle stump, clears his front leg and swipes it away to deep midwicket 15.2 Sandeep Sharma to Pandey, 1 run, slower ball, on a good length on off stump. Looks to slog it away but only manages to drag it off the inside half of the bat to the left of short fine leg 15.1 Sandeep Sharma to Lynn, 1 run, looks for the leg-stump yorker. Lynn whips the low full-toss to deep square leg. Lord
maniac
Yes bowled well today but seriously keep this in your face thing aside but people seriously think he can replicate this at the international level He is an average fielder and from what I saw a tailender with the bat. He can't be a strike bowler period and that's the way how this cruel game works....He can be a 4th option at best. Sure he won this game and bowled well but really you guys really want him in the international side? I would be surprised with a lot of Yes as a response
