Since we are talking about 100s. Vivek razdan shared a story related to the sacred one from nz tour 1991/92 on hindi commentary. 

In one match the sacred one got out for 80 odd. He came back to the dressing room and cried buckets for hours. That was in start only. Obsessed with 100s from the start. No wonder the journey from 90s to 100s was always so painful.

Hmm , he also cried in the Pakistan test match where he got out after scoring a 100. so no, he used to get emotional when his team was in a bad place. Nice try though.
