MATCH 5 : LORD/SLICKR392  VS JIMMY CLIFF ( @Lord / @SLICKR392  VS @Jimmy Cliff)

VENUE : CHEPAUK , CHENNAI

The spiritual home of Indian cricket in the state since the start of the Presidency matches in 1916, the MA Chidambaram Stadium, noted for its sporting pitches.India recorded their first Test win at the ground in 1951-52 when they defeated England by an innings and eight runs. Sunil Gavaskar notched up his record breaking 30th Test hundred on this ground in 1983-84. The India-Australia encounter in 1986-87 ended in a tie - only the second in the game's long history.

But more than the records, what stands out at Chepauk is the atmosphere and the crowd, reputed to be the most knowledgeable and appreciative in the country.

If JC's team had one more specialist spinner, I think I would have backed it... batting and pace attacks are about equal, could say JC's batting is a shade better... bit short on quality spin for Chennai though

Sigh, looks like Lord/SlickR are going to win the whole tournament thanks to the Tony Army. Kudos to them though. Pure genius. :hysterical:

Second has Viv Richards and Kapil Dev. What's the big deal?

5-6 out of the 13 votes are from dhoni chamchas who will vote for dhoni's team no matter what the opposition is, that's why the team having dhoni is winning this poll

There are far more Dhoni chamchas than Viv/Kapil Dev fans on this forum. :phehe:
