All extremely popular Indian cricketers like Kapil, Sunny, Sachin and now MS have been subjected to similar abuse simply because of how deified they have been by the average fan. When expectations were not been met, the fan turned and showered abuse and a clash of supporters and detractors has ensued, with little balance on either side. In that regard, ICF is a perfect microcosm of the average Indian fan.
