Texan Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 What pathetic timing. Should avoid cricket in England at this time of the year. As it is - too many tournaments are allocated to England. Instead, we should have more tournaments in SA, Aus, WI, SL.
StriKe Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 World Cup 19 is scheduled from 30 May 2019 – 15 Jul 2019
Zero_Unit Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Does it generally rain this much in ENGLAND? Isn't the wc happening there aswell? If it rains like this, good teams can be eliminated without their own fault or just one F*uck up. Sucks balls this kind of weather for cricket.
sandeep Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 And rain ruins everything. Again. Greedy ECB better reschedule the 2019 world cup ASAP.

Yes since the last two decades, the amount of rainfall has increased. Winters are basically cold and rainy and now even the summers are becoming increasingly windy and wet. You will have odd spells of hot sunny weather for 2/3 days in row from may onwards but May and June are generally wet summer months. I live here so im not talking bullshit. England is the only place where there so many rain affected matches. no wonder theres no demand for cricket. The public tend to stick to Football and Rugby which can be played in rain, sun and snow. Who wants to watch 5 days of cricket or any other type of matches which has so many rain delays. Edited June 7, 2017 by LordPrabhzy sandeep 1
chewy Posted June 7, 2017 Author Posted June 7, 2017 Pathetic scheduling of ICC and ECB, these baboons should be sued by fans and broadcasters
Zero_Unit Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 these rain affected matches are getting annoying. Seriously. Couple of days ago, AUS escaped, then BD escaped and today the game was getting interesting and ended up with pak winning with DL. Can you imagine a team who does not deserve to be in semis gets through because of rain affected matches while teams that actually would lift the cup getting the boot for it? Ridiculous.
