The problem with India or maybe Virat is, he doesn't seem open to experimenting. This is why i miss Dhoni,  he gave final over to joginder Sharma, wasn't afraid to give ball to Ishant despite being belted. Kohli seems very conservative, give ball to yuvi, bring in Shami for Jadeja

Jadeja should play. As the pitches are slowing down due to them being played on multiple times before his wicket to wicket bowling is more than handy. If Shami has to play, he needs to come in place of Ashwin.

At this point i don't think ashwin ll be replaced... that sl scar is still fresh

And it makes sense as B'desh have a few left handers in their lineup. However if India do reach the final I would rather play Shami in place of Ashwin since Pak batsmen are better players of off spin.

Thing is Jadeja could play in the finals but against BD i don't think dropping a spinner for Shami would be a grave mistake.  It cannot possibly backfire.

Now between Ashwin and Jadeja -  Jadeja does not bring the variation and if he has an off day he can be easily milked for runs .  Ashwin brings more variety. Jadeja is better for all round ability but I want to give Ashwin one more game before the finals to see how he performs .

In these conditions every team needs 5 secialized bowlers (none of whom is a  so called "5th" bowler).  If india bat first , believe me they will need 5 bowlers to defend the target

What Im thinking is  , if India plays Pakistan in the Finals - which most likely we will

If we go with 5 specialized bowlers that means  - We have 5 specialist batsman and Dhoni.    In our 5 specialist batsman we have Yuvi and Jadhav and I think that's a very weak middle order and could be disastrous. 

Does India need 5 specialist bowlers against Pakistan  ?   I doubt it - Batting isn't there strong point nor can they rotate strike well.

Does India need extra batsman in side against Pakistan bowling ?    Definitely , esp with weak middle order we need an extra batsman and 4 specialized bowler

Old Yuvraj is as useless it can get against Quality bowling. He lost my confidence when he lost us the world cup by himself. That should have been career ending inning. But here we got him instead of someone who deserves to be in the team. 

 

It is not a wise move, but just mind games they are playing. Diss talk is very common in every sport. What will he do with the ability he has got now? I hope few pundits from our sides start calling out on players instead of being scared of twitter warriors.

It's depends on the wickets .

 

It was used pitch in Cardiff so slow track yesterday.

 

But it will be a fr we wicket in Edgebaston today so should be full of runs.
