Reality is He won't play before pandey or Kl in the ODI team

Karthick played well then he should have gotten chance over Yuvraj in CT. He is selecting players based on name not on current form. Karthick was in decent form as per practice matches, but didn't even get the game. Pant is very well known in circle now, i believe he is the only uncapped ODI player who everyone is waiting for. He might be the best talent coming out after Kohli, and not getting any chance is just a bad vision. Dhoni is on his last legs, are you going to throw a kid who hasn't played any game before in a year or so. You saw how Dhoni was unable to rotate the strike after being on crease for 100 balls whereas Hardik as just taking easy singles, hell even Jadeja was having easy time. 

 

KL will walk into side over anyone even so called Talent Sharma. He is our second best batsman in the team even 80% fit. Pandey also did great, but you saw that he is going to play for India A, meaning he won't be selected for Team India in SriLanka tour. The only change would be KL will play instead of Karthick and Pant will be water boy again. Pandey won't be selected because then they will have to drop Yuvraj, which they won't. They can't drop Pant now without giving him few chances, he will be water boy till then.

Looks like his honeymoon period is over. He needs to wake up and smell the coffee, tighten the ship, take responsibility and some tough decisions or he will soon find his place is not as secure as he thought. Getting rid of the coach does not mean questions will not be asked if this continues. None of his friends in the team will then save him

Issue with kohli isn't his batting but his arrogance and ego. The guy didn't even speak to his coach during the whole CT. That's a joke, if this was any other sport, there would be grounds to have this player off the team

There are issues with his batting too, at least with respect to SRT.

Tbh I find Kohli alot more vulnerable when new to crease compared to Williamson and Joe Root.
