daryl1985
ABDV can take any bowler to the cleaners at the death. In the last over against Dinda he played 2 freakish shots (one off the 1st ball and the one off the 4th or 5th ball when he reverse swept Dinda for a 4). Link to comment
Crookbond
MC, BC ... kaun Kohli bola be? Teri Maa Ki Ch*** ... it is ABDV Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Can we add in the Choke factor too? So you are not alone. Ya he chokes like rest of the SA guys :cantstop: . The way he batted against Pakistan in world T20 held in England was really timid. He completely bottled it. Link to comment
rkt.india
also people ignoring conditions abdv can hit 100 anywhere at brilliant strike rate while kohli has been very dominant at home conditions and good away ABDV is as poor when ball seams and swings. Sreesanth made him his bunny. Link to comment
Pagalpanti
ABDV is as poor when ball seams and swings. Sreesanth made him his bunny. Well every batsman get out to moving ball at one point or another.. He plays 70% of his games in SA and still averages around 50 in both formats. AB DV is easily the best batsman (all formats incl).. in test alone Amla trumps him imo. Link to comment
Sachin=GOD
Reason? Kohli is better because he is proven himself in pressure situation and saved India many times in tough situation single-handedly Better strike rate and more importantly, he isn't an arrogant pr!ck who abuses anyone and everyone he sees on the field. Sandeep99
AB Devilliers is the God in a temple, Kohli is the rat begging outside... Zero_Unit 1 Link to comment
King Khan
I like middle order batsmen, cos in most cases they are the game changers. Upper order batter like Kohli clicks in boringly big scoring one sided matches. There is also BS word called Form in cricket. And right now for limited over games I would pick ABdV over Kohli. ABD is better improviser, has lots of creative shots in his pocket to offer and adaptable with any condition, fielding position including keeping and most importantly as like Dhoni he is flexible with batting order except opening slot. Not as good as Dhoni or AB, I would count some other players like Shakib, Morgan, Miller are very good to pick for as effective middle order batsmen. Link to comment
India-KXIP fan
lol @ anyone picking players from SA in ODI's :haha: Doesn't matter how good they are they will never win you the World Cup those chokers. Kohli any day, any week any year. Link to comment

Most pitches in LOIs are flat anyway. Last time, there were helpful pitches in ODIs in SA were in 2010 India's tour to SA and Kohli was very good in that series. Link to comment
Raghav_12
ABDV. ABDV along with Amla, Cook and Clarke are top four batsmen in world cricket at the moment. Nobody else is not in this top league. Link to comment
Detonator
These 2 stats makes some sense... ABDV : http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/player/44936.html?class=2;filter=advanced;opposition=1;opposition=2;opposition=4;opposition=6;opposition=7;opposition=8;orderby=default;template=results;type=batting Kooli : http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/player/253802.html?class=2;filter=advanced;opposition=2;opposition=3;opposition=4;opposition=5;opposition=7;opposition=8;orderby=default;template=results;type=batting ABDV is better in my opinion.. He has better recrords against big teams and also he is has done well in away games.. He averages 68 in India :(( Link to comment

rkt.india
I think he has changed from that time. He still has that problem. Look at how allover his foot work was in Aus test series before that big inning. Link to comment
yoda
Kohli cause less likelihood of a critical choke. Link to comment
SLICKR392
AB and Dhoni usually plays the same role of finishing the game and setting a target which is more crucial than some 100s on patha. Link to comment
