Imran and kapil were the two spearheads for their sides at the time .

While imran was a genuine fast bowler behind only Thomson and Holding .Kapil was a military medium pacer and that somehow reflected in their stats

Srinath in the '90s and Zaheer, Nehra and Agarkar in the early 2000s, were quick.

Fastest bowler of the last India-Pakistan match was Bumrah, who bowled upto 148 k .... 2nd fastest ball, 146 k, was by Pandya.

Umesh, Shami, Aaron and Ishant are genuine fast bowlers who have not had that many opportunities to play against Pakistan

^Been posting videos from all the matches those guys played . They all seem to be a good 10 to 15 k slower than the pakistani bowlers .

Zaheer , nehra , ishanth .

None of them seems to be bowling genuine fast like the pakistani bowlers .

doesnt look that quick

He was 3rd behind thommo and holding in a pace bowling competition .

No Indian bowler at the time was quick enough to be invited for the competition.

that trundler sarfaraz bowling at 50ks got invited

Yes because the indian opening bowlers of the time kapil and gavaskar were slower .

Maybe kumble might have got an invitation had he been playing for India.

He brought some speed to the Indian attack.

He brought up great points. Its a nice perspective to look at.

Definitely .

As an Indian fan i am sure he must have done a lot of research on why they dont produce quick bowlers.
