sandeep Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Right now, its Lyon hands down. Love watching him bowl - and enjoyed his bowling in the India-Aus series a few months ago.

Without a doubt. No one, including the inventor, has bowled a doosra without bending that elbow. Glad it is a thing of the past. sandeep 1

May be is a very good spinner right now considering all the conditions.... Say Ashwin, he is very good in sub-continent conditions but very average in England and Australia.....but Lyon is good pretty much everywhere... Is Lyon the best visiting spinner of India? Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk was thinking the same last aus tour was getting ridiculous turn. classic offie.

Glad it is a thing of the past. May be the awareness of chucking wasn't there so much unless you really bent your arm by 35 degree like Murali. Saqlains odi career too was built on doosra. He used to bowl in slog overs flighting the doosra taking the top edge
Vijy Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Lyon, Saqlain, Swann were all good. So was Benaud from a different era.
Gollum Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 In recent times Lyon, I have become a huge fan of his bowling now. Along with Swann and Ashwin he has been the most watchable offie since I started watching cricket. Chuckers like Ajmal, Saqlain, Murali, Harbhajan don't count in my eyes.
