Whatever happened to Finn ? I remember in 2010Ashes he was touted as the next biggest thing.

English quicks only seem 'lethal; in English conditions. Not because they are anything special more so with the inability of touring sides to get grips with the swinging ball. On the flat tracks of Aus and SA, they aren't any match for the local bowlers in terms of pace. Gone are the days of 85-90mph+ pacers eg Flintoff, Harmison, Jones who were actually were scary.

 

Present crop of english bowlers; Overton, Ball, Wood, Woakes..I see a 5-0 thrashing coming.

He played last Ashes in Aust as well but wasn't that effective I guess like 2010-11
