Frustrated Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 When the going gets little tough, he generally bowls a wide or 2 every over, and gives a hitme ball thereafter. He is obviously not better than a part timer. Even on helpful wickets, he looks clueless This will hurt us in ODIs abroad.
SK_IH Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 he cant play as a 3rd seamer, thats asking for too much
vvvslaxman Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 He is a hit the deck bowler. Not a wicket taker. He can do the role of relieving front line bowlers when they need rest and pick up occasional wickets.
speedheat Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 We need shami as a 3rd seamer can't rely on him on pitch like today express bowling and Mosher 2

Even if Shami is given rest, he should play some ODIs espcially in these conditions. Keep Pandya and others for flat pitches.

I agree, shami is all condition type pacer, even on flat pitches I will drop one spinner and play him, he is just too good to be ignored like this . express bowling 1

Shami is not being ignored . His work load own baing managed and meaningless white ball series are being avoided rest assured when a big tournament arrives he will be in odi set up a few series before . And this policy is correct

And this policy is correct I really hope that's the case, it will be unfair if he is fit and rarring to go in Odis but ignored,I still think he should be at least in the squad that trundler kaul is not half the bowler shami is.
surajmal Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Pandya is back to being crap. Which means return of Sharma as a 6th batsman.

cowboysfan Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 He is a nobody. People will realize this when we tour to SA and England and we have to actually rely on him.
