How are you guys taking it. It’s been really cold. Never seen this bad wind chills. The Midwest has been getting some cold weather. North east seems to be similar. How you guys taking it and doing basic shopping ?

It's mid 30s to mid 40s here in Texas, I guess relatively warmer than midwest and north:cantstop:

Only once, the temperature dropped to 4 degrees fahrenheit where I'm living.

 

If you have a decent heater in your apartment/home, I guess you should do well with some coffee/tea!

It’s gotten better since yesterday....it was in the 40’s yesterday.

It’s much better this week 35s, 50s and 60s. Was horrible last couple of weeks.

Yeah it's better here. I was in Midwest last week and moved to Jersey. It's a lot less colder here. More snow though ;(

even when the climate is -20 celcius , i use to go out for :beer: when i was in korea ( like a boss ) :yess: 

korea is much colder in winter because of lake effect

Never been...only been to Chennai and Madurai (for the temple of course) in TN :((

i myself been to chennai only twice in my life..

 

first time for enginnering counselling ..

second time , trasit to andaman & icobar islands ..

 

i feel more cold at 5 celcius with wind than -20 celcius wiht no wind

That is because there is no central heating concept in India....even on rare occasions when it used to get max cold temperatures ranging between 10-15’Celsius in places like Mumbai and Hyderabad, they used to call that a cold wave and it used to feel like the ice age lol.

Well if you can afford the real estate for starters.....being a doctor might help with that though :)
