Gollum Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 It isn't turning much and we don't bowl last (unless innings defeat ) so I won't fault Kohli here. This pitch is a graveyard for spinners in SA, visiting spinners average 60+ here. Last 4 test matches here, spinners have picked 0-1 wickets per innings here. Kohli deserves brickbats for not picking Bhuvi, not this.

Play both of them in the team.They are both chalk and cheese in variety but yet more or less equally effective.And they together provide the efficiency of a 60 avg: batsman.Any way proven failures like Ishant are not the answers, then why not take chances??????
