rkt.india
Kamlesh Nagarkoti, an 18-year-old pacer from Barmer, Rajasthan, set the speed gun on fire in the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup league victory over Australia, bowling at speeds approaching 150 kph. He and his partner Shivam Mavi got some great reaction on twitter from celebrities, ex-cricketers, reporters, and cricket fans. Form Aussie opener, “It was a bit of a surprise. We thought spin definitely would be their strength,” said Jack Edwards, who top-scored with 73 for Australia. “They were pretty sharp, I didn’t realise it was 145 until one of the boys told me. I guess they bowled not only quick but also accurate, they were pretty tough to get away. It was a good experience facing someone that quick.” https://www.wisdenindia.com/cricket-article/marrying-pace-control-nagarkoti-handful/287316 Edited January 15, 2018 by rkt.india Rightarmfast and Mosher 2 Link to comment
