who are we kidding here. Power BCCI weilds, can/will momentarily change the opinion of individuals on camera. But  when it will come to things that matters, They will start looking for excuses(case iCC BCCI money sharing vote, or none of Lankans appearing ATG list) Kohli has given enough material already. And they will easily hide that prejudice with " this and that " root cause. (Remember a ATG is also a role model to kids, And I do buy into this)

 

As long as Kohlis name is mentioned in a long list,  espn/wisden will Easily sell it to current set of young Indian cricket fans.

I think that this series may prove to be a career-defining one for VK given the toughness of pitch and opposition and for him to avg nearly 50 was remarkable. having said that, the first test was the one with the most pressure, since the 2nd was a semi-SC wicket and in the 3rd we'd lost the series anyway.

 

If we'd played some warm-up games and prepared well, I think he could have done well even in the 1st test (he was getting the hand even in the 2nd innings of that match).
