It was time to make a decision on Dhoni's future one year ago. But, it is not too late to do it now, all the selectors need to take hard look at Dhoni, and see what happens when you take a over the hill player to World Cup. I know Dhoni is everyone's favourite, and thats fine, but team should come before anything else. Dhoni can only consolidate right now, and whenever there is need to do that, we have lost the game 90% of the times. Making few runs extra is as good as making no run. 

 

If you want to win the world Cup, you have to take fire with out.

Shastri and Kohli are the villains who see a redeeming value in Dhoni. Everyone else sees the writing on the wall.

Whatever aura there was is long long gone. Opposing teams are now happy to see him at the crease accumulate dot balls and generally suck the momentum out of the innings. 

 

Never mind the strike rate its a struggle for Dhoni to get singles thesedays.
