Regarding the risk factor,what have we got to lose? Ashwin ain't gonna win you matches in England,with kuly he might give you a couple of match winning spells if England don't pick him up .

Don't think ,malan,vince,stoneman,stokes are gonna pick him up so soon but they all can play out ashwin without much fuss in English condition  

Kuldeep can run through lineups or get carted. 

 

I hav seen Jaddu pick a 10fer in a game where Kuldeep was utterly destroyed.

In England,neither jaddu or ashwin will run through the English line up ,if anyone has an outside chance it's kuly because of his x factor and you know it .

Jaddu ,ash will give you the basic 20-60-1/2 type of figures which are nothing to write home ,whereas kuly van give you a 3-4 wkt spell (off course he can get carted as well)

Agreed. I am just trying to minimize risk. Inexperienced Kuldeep as a lone spinner may be way too risky. 

 

I say 2 spinners (unless pitch is absolutely bonkers). Everyone else reckons one spinner.

?? India have won last 3 bilaterals against Englan, we had two of our main bowlers unfit so this defeat ain't that embarrassing .

Think of your side who haven't won a bilateral one water against England in last 13 years lol ,England have thrashed your team in the last 4-5 bilaterals
