      Let him play  this season and also work out his game against Pace during off season.  there is quite a bit needs to be done against quick bowling . 

       May be do serious practice for hours against 90+M  bolts  from a bowling machine , 

      If with that improvement he again shows consistency  next season , by first half of next season he should make it to A team.

If a player has a stellar U-19,FC and IPl in the span of 1-2 years, absolutely pick them- you don’t see me complain about Shaw or Pant do you?

If a player is a star in the IPL format, regardless of other stats- sure give him a shot in the tamasha tontee tontee  if a slot opens up- I have always said Hardik is a must in LOI’s especially T20. I have a problem with him playing test cricket where he doesn’t belong. I also said it’s fine if Krunal got a shot in T20 but doesn’t change the fact that he is a mediocre hack and bits and pieces player. That’s a different debate. Please don’t even bring up his name for ODIs. Despite talent and mediocre performances in FC, I have had no issues with Samson playing T20 either. I will complain if Samson gets a free ride in ODIs or tests without doing jack in domestics.

 

Now coming to the guy I have been vocal about- Dube. He has had may be 1.5 middle of the road decent seasons, flop in IPL, not a u-19 potential, picked on a few cameos or because he hit a couple of 6’s. Now that I have a huge problem with.

 

I have no issues with fast bowlers inducted a little earlier but given our batting heritage and history it pains to see players like Jadhav,Dube and even to some extent Vijay Shankar getting free runs in the team because they fit a mould.

so what exactly are you saying Paddikal should replace Kohli,Rahul  or Rohit? Or jump ahead of Gill,Shaw,Mayank,Samson based on the a couple of IpL knocks?

lol why are you losing your marbles. Chill. In Indian domestics where Sir Jadeja has 3 300’s it’s not that difficult for any decent player to average 60 for 1-2 seasons. Now obviously if he does it over 2 seasons minimum in all formats and shines in IPl, sure then get him in.

 

 I said pintu parcha in jest because if you remember another player you hyped on 1-2 knocks against a pajama league team with Kambli as a coach in Dube.

 

This guy the moment I saw him for the first time, I was sold. That’s all we can do as fans, am I accountable to anyone if I misjudged a player or do I get any bonus if I identify  a talented player? I never hyped dube...go read my comment one thread when someone found him . Read my 1st comment. Ull see i didnt rate him neither i do know

 

But i clearly said u need to find players like dube whose FC record again ur ignored. If he fails move to next . When i say we need to try sky doesnt mean i rate him but he is the kind we need. Despite that he still won india 1-2 games. Put specialist like rahane there he wont even win u one. 

 

U look for player i look for roles. 

If i want a player for a role doesnt mean i rate him. 

 

For the last time i never rated dube but we want players who can do that role at 6,7 not like ur genius ideas of putting rahane there or even gill or shaw

 

But i rate players  devdutt, hardik, shaw , gill, rahul kl,  rahul chahar , pant 

 

I wnt to team to try guys like sky, dube for the roles

If not RCB is the best example who have invested in names but not players who can do roles over CSk or MI .
