Sooda Posted September 17, 2018 Posted September 17, 2018 3, simply because of the menace that Seymour Hoffman got to the villain role. Puts other baddies into shade. Hunt seems to be in genuine jeopardy in that film, unlike the others.

I agree it is not the strongest but that is how the franchise makes films recently - a serious one is followed by a lighter one which is your fav?

But Casino Royale has to be the greatest of them all.

He has this aura of ruthlessness about him which distinguishes him from his 'soft' predecessors. If only the script writers could utilize his potential.

Bond is ruthless in it too .... at the time of release, it was an ok hit (not a block buster hit like some of the other Bond films) but over the years LTK has gained a lot of following and popularity ..., On Her Majesty’s Secret Service has gained cult status too over the years for being a different Bond film Stradlater 1

John Woo I mean some of these stunts are still being ripped off as we speak in some mainstream Masala South or North Indian movie.
