Work out hard, helps freshen up my mind. Also jogging outdoors amidst greenery helps in case I am in some other city and not interested in getting gym membership because of short stay.

Usually few days alone in some other city helps a lot.

If I have to do it these days, I will pack the bag and leave for Mumbai for weekend as I don't know anyone there.

When I was in Kolkata, I used to go to South Kolkata, walk whole day in streets, eat in different restaurants, sit in random parks, watch others and return back.

Or sometimes I would pack bag and leave for Sikkim or Orissa.

there could be multiple ways...some work better depending on the individual.  meeting like minded people defn helps..interacting with such people helps in motivates i.e going to gym with a buddy is better and keeps both of you on on the right track..same with studying.going to library can be better...less distractions and you're creating a setting to do you required thing i.e studying/exercising,etc.  social media and forums can also be quite distracting...ignore such time-wasting activities. and don't shy about talking about it to someone in real life i.e friends/fam,etc

I really found this helpful (hence the thread) :

Day 1 : Eat loads of junk. Watch movies and stay in the bed the whole day. Zero or minimum human interaction. No social media

Day 2 : organizers stuff. Clean your room. Clean your wardrobe. Get a haircut/shave. Get your nails done. Have a great bath. Get a good sleep and go for a jog/excersie the next day.

This usually will give you enough time to think.

Has worked wonders for me in the past few months.
