i presume it was on account of slow scoring....if so, atleast they have the spine to do so..unlike.....

As against no scoring lol. Rodrigez, Kaur, Mandhana. apart from them rest are absolute tripe lol

Pretty dire cricket. Lost last 8 wickets for 20 odd runs.

 

Like the men's top got the top order out and the rest crumbles meekly.

 

What a waste to reach the semis then play so poorly.

Poor decision to leave out Mithali. She is one of the better batsmen in the team. Yes she has strike rate issues, but at least you could expect her to score 40(45) in almost every match and that would give me the he team a overall score of around 130, which is a match winning total in women's cricket. Apart from Mandana, Kaur, Rodriguez....the best we can expect from other batsmen is 15(20). Seems like Kaur has some issues with Mithali.

lol she would have choked too and she is another selfish player for this format. People are creating delusion that she would have got india out of all troubles today. Yeah maybe 10 - 15 extra runs at max but england would have still won this match.

No delusion, just baffling decision to leave out someone who has already scored runs in the world cup and consistently. If she is available she should play. This wasn’t a flat 180 run pitch. Its a moderate pitch which had few challenges where you needed singles. Even if a batsman bats slow, like which Mithali did earlier, I would play her on such pitch compared to other girls like Veda or Hemlatha who have been pretty poor in the tournament.
