What is the excuse if India score less than 3 r.p.o this innings?

Lead of almost 300 - rain forecast, so very quick runs needed. Even if we get all out for 50, it won't be an easy chase for Aus. At the time of making this post, we are 19/0 after 7.3 overs scoring at 2.5 runs per over.

I had absolutely no problem with the scoring rate in the first innings. But, scoring at 2.5 in the second innings is just mind boggling.

 

100-5 after 20 overs would be a lot better than 60-0 after 20 in our current scenario.

Sad part is Pujara is coming padded up to bat next. I sometimes don’t understand Kohli. I am a massive fan of him and his agressive captaincy, but I have no idea why he sometimes become a bad captain

He is not an aggressive captain unless aggression means making lame sledges and shouting gaalis. He is a terrible captain and Bewda is the worst coach. Nohut will be protected now. I wouldn't be surprised if we wait till he makes a 50.

We still have 190 overs pending and if we give them 150 overs dont think they will be able to survive.

 

India's strategy is to get this pitch to further deteriorate and get more help for our bowlers along with some rest.

 

Besides this pitch is not suitable for consistent quick run scoring.

Scoring at 1.95 runs per over with a near 300 run lead after not enforcing the follow on with apparently 60 and 80 percent rain on days 4 and 5...are you serious?

This same boring cliche that Lohli, bewda or their PR team would give. On most occasions, you can't play for weather okay, but when you have such a good chance to win a test series in Aus for the first time...bowlers have only bowled 67 overs...near 300 run lead and what is the result? 2 rpo after 16 overs...

 

But then again I am talking to the "thala" fan who still has daily dreams about why Dhoni should continue stinking up our LOI teams....so for you even 2 rpo might seem really fast given superstar's travails in LOI for 3 years now.
