Seems the Pak celebs and singers have taken this to heart, some who came to India begging for contracts and who made money here. Including responses of some of those who worked in our industry as recently as a couple of years back. We will never learn, never change.

They can't be faulted for coming to India looking for jobs, onus is on us. So many Indian talents hardly get a gig, and here we are entertaining our enemy? How many from North East, Odisha, Central India tribal belt, etc have made it to our industries? When we can't tap into local talent kahaan se Pakistaniyon ko utha le aate ho yaar? We won't miss anything if we don't have them. If you wanna use film/music industries for soft power why not recruit from friendly (or non-hostile) countries like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, even some of the Arab, Persian, African, SE Asian countries who dig into our culture. The Pak celebs have my grudging respect coz they fully stand along with their govt. & wouldn't dare to criticise their own. Blame goes both ways, Jinnah was right all along....we shouldn't mix. This BS Pakistani entry to Bollywood started in the 90s, peaked in 2004-2014, akalmand ke liye ishara hi kaafi hai. NDA govt said they will ban them some time in 2015/16 (after back to back Gurdaspur & Pathankot IIRC) and then we had to tolerate their presence in some highly successful movies after that like Mom, Hindi Medium, Raees, Kapoor and Sons etc not to mention so many movies with them in non acting roles. This is also fans fault right. If we made a move not to watch movies with padosis or just boycott bollywood in total, everything would come back to normal. Look at the reportage of Hamid Mir before he was pumped with bullets in his car, since then he too has been following the given narrative.
