Batting first should be a priority with some assistance for spin expected in the 2nd session. Even England shouldn't be able to score more than 330-350 provided Pakistan bowl well. In any other team I guess he will be regarded as a capable #8, England's depth in batting is ridiculous His list A and FC batting numbers are good as well, multiple county 100s for Yorkshire, recently against Hampshire.
