The only reason this looked like a close match is because Paks middle order had a mental breakdown during a routine run chase. Credit to Afghanistan for fighting hard, but this was always going to be difficult to salvage.

 

Gulbuddin should have bowled out Shinwari instead of coming on himself but anyway they are a young team and they will learn from the experience. 

 

Pak vs Bgd will be an exciting quarterfinal. If Pak planbat to bat like they did today then they can already book their flight home.

But I'll be realistic, compare both teams overall performances so far... they'v been much more consistent... Their batting did not collapsed for once, not for once... even when they lost, sored 280, 330+ vs Eng, Aus etc.. chased down 320 vs WI... Also Pak have been struggling vs Spin which they got quite reasonable options... so all odds in their favor...
