Aside from the whole net runrate issue. This match is about Pakistan vs Bangladesh as a whole. Many have said that Bangladesh have performed very well in this tournament. Probably even better than Pakistan. The main question is will Bangladesh prove to the world that it is a better team than Pakistan and is the number two best Asian team? Or will the Cornered Tigers strike these Tigers down. Tame them to the point where they could not strike no more.

If Pakistan tries to go for NRR then might just combust to 120 all out. Not sure if the result will be a fair representation.

Michael Holding "Pakistan should be in the semi-finals if they beat Bangladesh. NRR should be the last thing to consider. If points & wins are equal then the result between both teams should be deciding factor. Since Pakistan beat New Zealand they should be in semi-finals

IIRC in 2003 World cup, if 2 teams had same number of wins and equal points, group match winner between them proceeded ahead, which looks like more fair... and NRR was next priority i.e. if 3 teams had equal wins and points among them...

Hussain in the last game also said the same thing that Pakistan should advance if Kiwis lose to Poms.

So here it is folks.. the most anticipated match of the entire worldcup.. it's poyzz vs nagins.  Brace ur self fellas.. Pakistan wins the toss nd decides to put 500 on the board... But.. but... ironically against a team who only chases targets beyond 500... Clash of titans.. :afraid:

Is Mr. 500 playing today?
